TTMRC has been around for many years. I first met the group about 30 years ago in a church hall off Middle street. The members where helpful and welcoming. I remember the layout being of a coastal town terminus, I also remember going to two exhibitions with them. We lost the use of the room and moved around member’s homes, then I was forced to move back to London. After many years i returned to Taunton and formed a club over my shop in Bridge Street, with Yeovil East, this worked well for a while, but then, 10 years ago, we were able to find a permanent home in Curland, 6 miles from Taunton.

The Circle Today.

March 26,2024. Club name has been changed to Taunton Town Model Railway Circle.

MARCH 2024. Has seen a big upgrade to our layout Yeovil East.

We are open to new members.

We have 2 layouts ready to be prepared for exhibition use.

Our plans to extend Yeovil East have been formed and are ready to go.

Plenty of art modelling work of all kinds.

We are a friendly helpful group, at this time open to all who wish to enjoy our hobby.
